Collection Network

Pickup Across the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany

We collect throughout the Netherlands — from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Groningen and Maastricht. Pickups in Belgium and Germany work no differently: the vehicle or cargo gets collected where it is and driven back across the border to the same Dutch terminal, under a single booking. France is covered on request as well.

  • Every province of the Netherlands covered
  • Belgium & Germany pickups in the same booking, France on request
  • Dealer lots, auction houses, warehouses & private addresses
  • One team from first message to departure

How Collection Differs by Source

AUCTION PURCHASEUsually can’t leave without a release note or gate pass — we arrange the pickup date together with the auction house to avoid storage days.
\n
DEALERSHIPGenerally quicker — agree a time, and the vehicle or cargo and its documents are ready when our driver arrives.
\n
PRIVATE SALE / BUSINESSWorks on its own schedule — tell us when the vehicle or cargo can be reached, and collection is arranged around that.
Cargo Types

What We Ship to India

Car shipping from the Netherlands to India remains the most common request, but what actually ships here covers considerably more ground. Whatever’s travelling, the first step is always the same — tell us where it is, describe it, and confirm India.

Export Documents

Paperwork to Arrange Before Export

We prepare all essential export documentation for shipments to India, including the EXA Export Declaration, customs paperwork, commercial invoices, packing lists and Bill of Lading instructions. Our team ensures your machinery, containers and project cargo are documented correctly before departure. We carefully verify cargo specifications to help prevent delays and ensure compliance. From export paperwork to ocean freight documentation, we manage the entire process from start to finish.

⚠ Check this early: make, model and VIN need to appear identically on every document. It’s easy to overlook — and one of the more common reasons a shipment gets held up at the terminal.

Shipping Methods

Deciding Between RoRo and Container Shipping

ROLL-ON / ROLL-OFF

RoRo Shipping to India

Built around anything that can move under its own power — driven onto the vessel at the European port, then driven straight back off at the Port of India. No container, no lifting gear.

20FT / 40FT CONTAINER

Container Shipping to India

The sensible choice once a shipment grows beyond a single roadworthy car — extra vehicles, or cargo that can’t be driven, both point this way.

Not sure which one suits your shipment? Describe what’s travelling and we’ll compare RoRo against a container for your specific vehicle, cargo and timeline.

Container Freight

Container Shipping as a Core Service

Container shipping from the Netherlands to India is a core service in its own right — not something we only offer when a vehicle shipment happens to be too big for RoRo. India handles a substantial volume of containerised cargo, and a good share of our bookings are a 20ft or 40ft container travelling on its own: household goods, business inventory, spare parts or commercial cargo, with or without a vehicle inside.

Container shipping from Belgium or Germany follows an identical path to a Dutch booking — collected close to where the cargo actually is, then transported to the same export terminal for loading.

Machinery Shipping to India: Industrial Machines, Factory Equipment and Production Cargo

Machinery shipping to India requires careful planning because industrial machines are often heavy, valuable, sensitive, oversized or difficult to load. A standard shipment may involve only one machine, while a larger export project may include multiple machines, parts, tools, spare parts and production line equipment.

GSA LOGIX can assist with shipping many types of machinery and equipment, including:

  • Metalworking machines, CNC machines, milling machines and lathe machines
  • Press brakes, cutting machines, welding machines and workshop equipment
  • Woodworking machines, saw machines, planing machines and furniture production equipment
  • Textile machinery, weaving machines, knitting machines, dyeing machines and finishing machines
  • Printing machines, packaging machines and plastic processing machines
  • Injection moulding machines and industrial production equipment
  • Food processing machinery, factory equipment and production line components
  • Compressors, generators, pumps, tools and industrial parts
  • Agricultural machines, tractors and farm equipment
  • Construction machinery, excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts and heavy equipment

Before we recommend a shipping method, we need to understand the machine itself. The pickup address, machine description, dimensions, weight, photos and final destination in India are the most important starting points. With this information, we can check whether the cargo fits inside a 40ft container, needs a 40ft open top container, requires flat rack shipping, is out of gauge or should be handled as breakbulk or project cargo.

What Affects the Price

None of this is fixed enough for a published price list to mean much. We put a figure together once we know where it’s coming from, what exactly it is, and where it’s headed.

Destination

Indian Ports and Inland Destinations: We Keep the Route Simple

Shipping to India is not always only about the seaport. Many shipments arrive at an Indian port first and then continue inland by road, rail or through an ICD. An ICD, or Inland Container Depot, allows containerised cargo to continue from the port toward an inland logistics location closer to the final destination.

Common Indian ports for machinery, containers and project cargo include:

  • Nhava Sheva / JNPT / JNPA
  • Mumbai Port
  • Chennai Port
  • Mundra Port
  • Kandla Port
  • Visakhapatnam Port
  • Cochin Port
  • Kolkata / Haldia

For inland destinations, cargo can be planned toward ICD areas such as ICD Bangalore / Whitefield, ICD Tughlakabad New Delhi, ICD Dadri, ICD Garhi Harsaru / Gurgaon, ICD Ludhiana, ICD Ahmedabad / Khodiyar, ICD Hyderabad, ICD Nagpur, ICD Pune and other locations depending on the final destination.

Important route note: New Delhi is not a seaport. Cargo for New Delhi normally arrives at a suitable Indian seaport first, such as Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Chennai or another route option, and can then be planned toward an inland destination such as ICD Tughlakabad New Delhi or another relevant ICD depending on the shipment.

The best port or ICD route depends on the cargo, the container type, carrier schedule, available handling options, final destination and import requirements in India. GSA LOGIX helps customers keep this decision practical by first reviewing the cargo and then advising the most suitable route.

Stay on Schedule

Delays We Help You Avoid

A handful of recurring issues account for most of the hold-ups we see. Spot them early and the shipment keeps moving on schedule instead of stalling at the terminal.

HOLD·01

A contact number that changes after the booking is already confirmed.

HOLD·02

Paperwork describing a different vehicle, model or VIN than what’s actually collected.

HOLD·03

Nobody around to hand over the vehicle or cargo on the day it’s due.

HOLD·04

Someone other than the owner exporting without proof they’re allowed to.

HOLD·05

A booking confirmed so close to sailing that there’s no room to absorb a hiccup.
